DR. AMARO'S JET LAG PROTOCOL
Dr. John Amaro was my Medical Acupuncture instructor and he developed a technique to help prevent jet lag. Many people have benefited from it and it is quite easy to perform on your self.
This non-invasive acupressure method is based on traditional Chinese medicine. It uses the body's 24-hour "horary" clock to pre-synchronize your circadian rhythms to your destination's time zone by stimulating specific organ meridian points every two hours during flight.
How to Do Dr. Amaro's Method:
-
Set your clock: Update your watch or phone to your destination's time before you board the plane.
-
Find the active organ: Match the current time at your destination to the corresponding Chinese medicine organ point on the chart below.
-
Stimulate the point: Lightly press or tap the designated point about 20 to 30 times using a finger or a blunt pen tip. Stimulate the points on both sides of the body.
-
Repeat: Move to the next chronological organ point every two hours while awake in-flight until you arrive.
-
If you fall asleep just do the points in successive order to catch up.

Growing up in Satellite Beach, Dr. David Sanders decided to be a chiropractor at 17 years old. Read more about his story and get to know him a little better.
"His ability to innately know what is wrong is a gift from God. I would highly recommend that anyone that needs neurology or chiropractic care see him! I am highly blessed and honored to be Dr. Sanders' patient."
