Job Summary

I am seeking a friendly, loving, caring, happy, organized, and dependable Chiropractic Assistant to join me in serving our community (and beyond) with the many wonderful gifts and tools of chiropractic neurology.  The Chiropractic Assistant plays a key role in ensuring that patients receive excellent care from check-in to check-out. This position integrates front desk duties, clinical support duties, and communication duties in an exciting, patient-centered environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Front Desk Duties

  • Open and prepare clinic for patient appointments and manage the daily clinic flow

  • Greet patients with a friendly and warm attitude and assist with check-in and check-out

  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent patient service

  • Schedule/reschedule patients

  • Collect and post payments

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

  • Handle basic office tasks such as filing, scanning, and inventory management

  • Organize, stock, and order necessary supplies

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment

  • Close clinic
     

Clinical Support Duties

  • Assist with new patient exams, treatments, re-exams, and report of findings

  • Assist and direct patients during neurorehab sessions

  • Apply therapeutic modalities such as laser, vibration, etc.

  • Instruct patients on therapeutic exercises
     

Communication Duties

  • Educate patients on care plans, office policies, and available services

  • Build loving and caring patient relationships in order to serve the patients with excellence

  • Address patient questions and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner

 

Qualifications

  • Must be willing to love and serve each patient - even the challenging ones

  • Must have a teachable attitude

  • Must have a warm, friendly personality

  • Must be able to share smiles freely

  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Must have the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical setting

  • Must be dependable

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to transition from sitting to standing multiple times per day

  • Walk from front of clinic to back of clinic and back to the front 

  • Ability to hold up to five pounds of equipment and assist patients when necessary

  • Manual dexterity for assisting with treatments and equipment

 

Hours

Part-Time (12-16 hours per week depending on the schedule)

  •  Monday:    2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (or up to 6:30 p.m. depending on the schedule)

  •  Tuesday:    8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (or up to 12:30 p.m. depending on the schedule)

  •  Thursday:  2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (or up to 6:30 p.m. depending on the schedule)

  •  Friday:        8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (or up to 12:30 p.m. depending on the schedule)

Compensation
  • Competitive hourly wage paid either weekly or bi-weekly

  • Freedom to take personal days (unpaid)
