I moved to Satellite Beach when I was five and was called into the chiropractic profession at the age of 17. I had been given a bible and decided to read it. I got to Luke 4:40 which says "those that had various diseases, brought them to Jesus, and laying hands on each one, he healed them." Being spiritually naïve, I thought Jesus was using chiropractic and at that moment, I knew that I was called to be a chiropractor!
I have a beautiful wife who is a pediatric nurse practitioner and is encouraging and supportive of my neurology studies. I also have three awesome children, an equally awesome son-in-law, and a sweet dog named Roxy. While growing up in Satellite Beach, I enjoyed living on the barrier island and had my fair share of surfing, fishing, boating, snorkeling, and scuba diving. When I am not practicing or studying neurology (which is rare), I enjoy hanging out with my family, traveling, photography, painting, listening to music, playing the guitar, studying art, astronomy, boating, fishing, scuba diving, watching my son play soccer, and supporting the Orlando City Lions soccer team.
MEET DR. DAVID SANDERS
I've had the privilege of being the office manager and chiropractic assistant for Dr. David Sanders at Atlantis Brain & Chiropractic Center since 2003. I love to garden and spend time with my very active family! I have four children . . . three girls and one boy.
My two older daughters are married and also live here in Florida. (As a matter of fact, I moved here from Iowa in 2002 to be closer to them.) It took a little adjustment but I love living here in the Sunshine State. I also have an amazing granddaughter who is an absolute delight!
Working with Dr. Sanders has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life! Not only do I get to work in an atmosphere of caring and healing, but I am able to witness lives being changed for the better each day. I also have the opportunity to meet the nicest, most fascinating people in the world - our patients!
