The Arthrostim is a wonderful electromagnetic adjusting device which offers maximum patient comfort during the correction of spinal problems.   Many patients prefer this method of correction as it is extremely gentle and does not involve the “twisting or popping” commonly associated with chiropractic care. I have used this tool with great success with infants, children, adolescents, adults, professional athletes, the frail and infirm, and the elderly.

The gentle correction that the Arthrostim provides is due to its ability to produce a repetitive thrust and recoil on the joint at an average frequency of ten thrusts per second.  This allows nerve endings called joint mechanoreceptors to be activated. (Joint mechanoreceptors give the brain and nervous system information about the position and tension of the joint.)
